Shipping

What shipping carrier do you use?
We ship all orders via UPS.

While we always ship on time, carrier delays due to weather or routing are outside of our control.


What shipping options are available?

  • UPS Ground (1–5 business days)
  • UPS 3 Day Select
  • UPS 2nd Day Air
  • UPS Next Day Air

Winter Note: During colder months, live plants will not ship via Ground.


How much is shipping?
Shipping rates are based on total package size, weight, and protective materials used to safely ship live plants.

  • UPS Ground — $14.95 (under 2 lbs) | $18.95 (2+ lbs)
  • UPS 3 Day Select — $22 | $26
  • UPS 2nd Day Air — $38 | $48
  • UPS Next Day Air — $75 | $90

Additional charges may apply for larger or multi-box orders.


Do you ship to PO Boxes?
No, UPS requires a physical address.


Do you ship internationally?
We currently ship within the domestic U.S. only
(excluding Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico)


Where do you ship from?
All plants ship from our home-based shop in Ann Arbor.

Each plant is grown and cared for in small batches to ensure strong roots and healthy growth.

When will my order ship?
We ship live plants Mondays and Tuesdays only to avoid weekend delays.

  • Orders begin processing Sunday at 12 PM (EDT)
  • Orders placed after Monday at 12 PM ship the following week
  • Please allow 2–3 business days for processing

Non-plant items ship Monday–Friday.


Can you hold my order?
Yes—we can hold plants for up to 3 weeks.
Leave a note at checkout or email us after placing your order.


Can you combine shipping?
Yes! If your orders match and haven’t been processed yet, we’re happy to combine them.

Please send requests by Sunday at 12 PM (ET).

Do you ship in cold weather?
Yes-with precautions.

From November 1 – March 15:

  • Plants must ship via UPS 3 Day, 2 Day, or Next Day
  • A heat pack is required for all plant orders

Orders without a heat pack during this time are not covered by our guarantee.

Do you guarantee your plants?
Yes! We guarantee your plant will arrive alive and in good overall condition.


What should I do if there’s an issue?
Email us within 6 hours of delivery at

Please include photos of:

  • the plant
  • packaging
  • shipping label

What is considered normal?
Plants are living things and may show minor signs of travel.

Not covered:

  • small leaf damage
  • slight yellowing or browning
  • a detached leaf
  • minor cosmetic imperfections

These do not affect long-term health.


What isn’t covered?

  • Incorrect shipping addresses
  • Packages delayed or mishandled by the carrier
  • Packages left outside or stolen after delivery
  • Orders shipped without required heat packs in winter

Can I cancel my order?
All sales are final. Orders cannot be canceled once placed.

We begin processing quickly to reserve your plant.


Do you accept returns or exchanges?
No, sorry. Due to the nature of live plants, all sales are final.


Can you cancel my order?
We reserve the right to cancel orders if needed (inventory issues, listing errors, etc.).
If we cancel, you’ll receive a full refund.

Restocks are usually Thursday or Friday, but can vary.

Plants often sell quickly, so don’t dally!

What does “Grower’s Choice” mean?
You’ll receive a plant similar in size and maturity to the one shown, but each plant is unique.
